Easter Bread Dolls

Yes, I know I’m a day late for Easter. Better late than never I guess. And really it was on Saturday that Martha and I made them. Making and baking these dolls are a family tradition from when the girls were little. Alison doesn’t live nearby anymore and sadly couldn’t be here with us. But we made one for her.

Here is what they looked like coming out of the oven. We have little jars of old dried up food coloring paste on the counter behind them.

In the end what mattered most is that they were delicious!

  2. I should have put in a link to last year’s dolls. That post had more information on how the dolls were made. See them at: https://playfulstitching.wordpress.com/2013/03/30/easter-traditions-bread-dolls/
