Another Jointed Doll

I’ve been working on another jointed doll.  Actually I have a whole bunch planned.  My worktable is stacked with fabrics in lots of piles along with trims and braids and ribbons and beads and buttons.  At the rate I’m going at them, they’ll be there a while.  But the latest doll is made and awaiting her hair and clothing.

The pattern still has a bug or two to work out, but it’s getting better.

The threads coming out of the top of her head are from the jointing at her neck.  Her head turns.  If it turns out to be sturdy enough, the head joint will be part of the pattern too.

I think this doll turned out beautiful so far, I can’t wait to see how you dress her.

    Wow – she looks amazing!

  3. It’s very intriguing to see how you’ve created the joints. That can’t be easy!

Do you have a pattern one could purchase for the doll?
