A Fully Jointed Doll

Way back in the summer I began thinking and planning a new doll pattern.  I wanted one that was fully jointed and could be bent and posed in natural movements.  My first efforts did not work the way I thought they should, so I put all the pieces into a bag and put it away for a while, simmering on the back burner.  Recently I began again with a different approach to the joint construction.  There are several things that need to be tweaked, but overall she looks good.

She has stitched knees and elbows; hinged hips, ankles, and wrists; and tab shoulders.

The back view:  love the elbows!

She even has toenails and fingernails.

Clothing and hair coming soon…

  2. And a great curvy figure, not the androgynous look of a fashion model!
