As promised I have a few more pictures of Christmas gifts I’ve made this year. I even have pictures of the recipients wearing their gifts which means I didn’t have to be the model this time.
I made this apron early on because it had to be delivered to Australia where Matt and Stephanie live. Our package of gifts got there just in time–on Christmas Eve. We were able to Skype with them as we all opened our gifts. Doesn’t the weather in Perth look inviting?
Little Zoubi likes to help when Alison cooks! See how intently she watches the stove for any tidbits that may fall in her direction.
This last gift for my new son-in-law was a joint gift with my dad. Dad makes toys every year in his backyard workshop and he gave me a hand this year by cutting out the map with his jigsaw. I did all the sanding and painting. Last year Ryan loved the Louisiana map that the Dad had made for Martha when she was little. He was excited to receive South Carolina, his home state, and promptly sat down and put it all together.
Very nice looking aprons and the puzzle looks terrific! Happy New Year and all the best in 2013
